The 40th anniversary of the Islamic invasion was held at the residence of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Stockholm along with numerous Swedish dignitaries, foreign ambassadors and diplomats. The Swedish Foreign Trade Minister Linde, who is at the same time the co-chair of the Joint Commission of the two countries, on behalf of the Swedish government conveyed, a congratulatory speech to the Islamic Republic’s ambassador.
On July 14, 2015, during the Obama presidency, Iran and six world powers known as the P5+1 (China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States) signed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), known as ‘Iran Nuclear Deal’ with the intention to marginalize Iran’s nuclear program and monitor it in exchange for relief from nuclear sanctions.
Persian or Iranian civilization and its culture undoubtedly has marked a significant era in the history of the world. In addition, to get a better picture of how the events ensued, we need to briefly address Persia’s history and unravel some of its perplexing names and origins, both before and after the Islamic period.
The Prophet Muhammad is an important figure in the Islamic world. In fact, most Muslims believe that humanity could do no better than to follow its dictums as well as to emulate Muhammad's own life example for a guarantee of bliss and salvation.
Iran has been under the rule of Islam since 1979. The Iranian people have attempted on several occasions to end the rule of these barbarians, but each time they are faced with the ruthless Islamic regime and many of them were massacred while the world watched and did nothing.
Since the invasion of the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran, many Iranians found themselves in a state of bewilderment as to what real Islam is. The suffocating rule of Islam casts its death-bearing pall over Iranians. A proud people with an enviable heritage has been systematically purged of its sense of identity. The so-called Islam they knew and cherished vanished overnight, and confusion and uncertainty prevailed.
While the Islamic Republic supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, for his part, has been vocal through his speeches, statements, and practices to find a candidate who would follow and carry on his revolutionary ideals to national leadership, Iranians in exile have not been able to reconcile their differences in order to appoint someone at the helm.
