It is a crime to remain silent in the face of evil, it is said. Thus, I am speaking up and urging other good men and women to raise their resonant voices while they can before they are brutally silenced by the ever-creeping Islamofascism.

All eyes turn to Rick Perry

Posted by Neil Stevens (Profile) Friday, September 2nd at 6:30PM EDT Attacks on Rick Perry, new Presidential candidate and sudden poll leader, have begun to mount. He will soon take the stage in a debate against the other candidates. His opponents in both parties are determined to leave a mark on him. Let’s take a look at where he’s at as the pressure grows. As I often did in 2010, and will do often in this cycle, I turn to Real Clear Politics for a list of recent polls. But I’m not interested in the top line numbers this time. Those have and continue to fluctuate. I’m interested in opinions of Rick Perry, to see whether his current numbers are likely to have staying power. Quinnipiac polled 1185 Republicans (MoE 2.9), targeting both landlines and mobile phones. Rick Perry among Republicans came out with 44% having a favorable view of him, to 5% unfavorable. Contrast with Mitt Romney, who appears better known, but with triple the unfavorables at 57/14. Nobody else matches Perry. Not Michele Bachmann at 50/14, not Sarah Palin at 63/25.

Texas' Rick Perry beats Obama for first time in poll

McClatchy Newspapers (Maria Recio) Posted: 09/02/2011 2:40 PM For the first time, Texas Gov. Rick Perry leads President Barack Obama in a national poll, by 44 to 41 percent, while his GOP rivals trail in head-to-head match-ups against the president. The new Rasmussen poll signals a breakthrough for Perry, who trailed Obama by 3 percentage points in last week's Rasmussen poll. The latest survey of 1,000 likely voters, released Thursday, was conducted Aug. 23-30 and has an error margin of 3 percentage points. Since his late entry into the race Aug. 13, Perry has surged to the top of six major polls, displacing former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the former front-runner. Perry heads to South Carolina on Labor Day for a forum with other major GOP candidates organized by Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C. On Wednesday, Perry will participate in his first debate with his Republican rivals at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif., followed by another debate Sept. 12 in Tampa. Perry's camp downplayed the new poll, with political adviser David Carney telling McClatchy via email, "Polls at this point are neither predictive nor enlightening, but they kill lots of trees and keep many people employed." In fact, a Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday had Obama still ahead of Perry at 45-42 percent, and Romney tied with Obama at 45 percent.

By Published August 31, 2011 FoxNews.com No religion can claim superiority over safety and security. On Tuesday, Rye Playland, an amusement park near New York City temporarily shut down after an altercation erupted with a Muslim group over the park's headgear policy. Muslim women in a tour group at Playland were reportedly denied access to several rides because they were wearing hijabs – their traditional headscarves, according to FoxNews.com. {C} The park's deputy commissioner said, "Our headgear policy is designed to protect the safety of patrons and safety is our first concern...This policy was repeatedly articulated to the tour operator, but unfortunately the message did not reach some of the members of his group."

Governor Perry’s Islam Connection

[singlepic id=15 w=320 h=240 float=left]The news of Governor Rick Perry jumping into the Republican nomination race for President, released a media tsunami that assaulted my brain. In no time at all, people came up with a long list of negatives about him. In a democracy, honest and thorough scrutiny of anyone’s records seeking a public office is not only the prerogative of the electorate, but it is its duty.

Being a lifelong critic of Islam, red flags popped up in my head at his purported cozy relationship with Islam and prompted me to look very closely at the governor’s record on this particular issue and at this specific time.

The Ultimate Offense

Amil Blogs

On April 4th of this year I posted an article on this blog called Impeachable Offenses. In that article I listed 12 things that President Obama had done that I felt were violations of his oath of office. Like many Americans, I have been appalled by the apparent disregard and even disdain that Obama, and many of his appointees and supporters in Congress have for the Constitution of the United States.

However, even I was not prepared for his latest action that is not only a violation of his oath of office, but a direct violation of one of the most important parts of the Constitution. The language in Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution is very specific when it talks about the duties of the President of the United States and it says: “…. he shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed…”
