The Ultimate Offense

On April 4th of this year I posted an article on this blog called Impeachable Offenses. In that article I listed 12 things that President Obama had done that I felt were violations of his oath of office. Like many Americans, I have been appalled by the apparent disregard and even disdain that Obama, and many of his appointees and supporters in Congress have for the Constitution of the United States.

However, even I was not prepared for his latest action that is not only a violation of his oath of office, but a direct violation of one of the most important parts of the Constitution. The language in Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution is very specific when it talks about the duties of the President of the United States and it says: “…. he shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed…”

Saif al-Islam, the son of Col. Muammar al-Qaddafi, appeared at a Libyan hotel early Tuesday morning despite widely circulated reports of his capture during the rebels' move into Tripoli a day earlier. Saif arrived in a convoy with armed men at the Rixos Hotel in Tripoli and told Fox News that the rebels had been lured into a trap and that pro-Qaddafi forces will crush them. On July 27, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, in Richardson, Texas, the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Dallas chapter, featured Dr. Tariq Ramadan, a highly controversial Islamic scholar, for their annual fundraising to Support Religious Freedom & Sharia Awareness.

ICNA, an offshoot of the Muslim Students' Association (MSA), was founded by Muslim immigrants from the Indian subcontinent, and its members are mostly South Asian descent, primarily Pakistanis, Bengalis and Indians. Among many of its goals, "shall be to seek the pleasure of Allah through the struggle of Iqamat-ud-Deen [establishment of the Islamic system of life] as spelled out in the Quran and the Sunnah of [Muhammad]."

It is a crime to remain silent in the face of evil, it is said. Thus, I am speaking up and urging other good men and women to raise their resonant voices while they can before they are brutally silenced by the ever-creeping Islamofascism.
